The evolution of "Supreme"

As we all know in the 21 years lifetime of the Supreme brand it has evolved massively. Whether for the better or for the worse is just a personal opinion.

Back in 94' when Supreme was established by James Jebbia, the brand catered the Skateboarding and Punk rock culture. The brand was mainly worn by skaters in New York that has a "Zero fucks given" attitude.

21 years later (2015) the brand is has a extremely large secondary market that is used by fuck bois "kids with rich parents" that use their parents money to cop what ever is the most hyped up item that is dropping that thursday, post a few flexing pictures on Instagram and then throw it on ebay for double the price which will be quickly swept up by the people who either their "bot" malfunctioned or they are at work, making an actual earning for themselves.

Although these kids are making such a huge profit of ripping people off, should we really be hating on them? I mean they are making huge amounts of cash and becoming Instagram famous whilst doing it.

Yes, they are fuck bois.

The brand is now also had a large impact on the Hip Hop scene, having apperances on such A listers like Drake, A$ap Rocky and who can forget the man himself Yeezus. Yeezus unintentionally created a massive lust for the Supreme field pullover that is a must have for every Yeezus dick rider that owns the hyped up Air Yeezys and a pair of ripped jeans.

The brand has had massive collaborations over the years including artists, hip hop artists, streetwear brands and models such as Damien Hirst, Three Six Mafia, UNDERCOVER and Kate Moss. Most of the pieces that have come from these collaborations have become sort after by most Supreme collecters that actually wear or collect the brand, but unfortunatly if you wish to aquire these pieces you will be paying well over the original retail price.
